Dr Adam Lewandowski appointed Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Science

Congratulations to Dr Adam Lewandowski, Research Fellow and Lecturer in Systems Physiology at St Peter's, who has been appointed as an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Science within the University's Medical Sciences Division.

Dr Lewandowski, who is currently pursuing postdoctoral research within the research team at the Oxford Cardiovascular Clinical Research Facility (CCRF), is a specialist of the impact of preterm birth on the cardiovascular system. He is head of the Lewandowski Group, which focuses on understanding how alterations to early human development affect long-term disease risk and how to reduce risk through nutritional and lifestyle interventions.

At St Peter's, Adam leads on the tutorial teaching for undergraduate and graduate-entry medicine for cardiovascular physiology.
