Prof Christl Donnelly CBE among the first Fellows of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences

St Peter’s College is pleased to share that Professor Christl Donnelly CBE is one of twelve Oxford academics appointed to the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences’ inaugural cohort of Fellows, which will bring together the UK’s strongest mathematicians across academia, education, business, industry, and government to help solve some of the UK’s biggest challenges.

Prof Donnelly is Professorial Fellow in Statistics at St Peter’s College, is Professor of Applied Statistics and an investigator in Oxford’s Pandemic Sciences Institute. She is also a former Head of the Department of Statistics at Oxford.

She said: ‘It is an honour to join the Academy and to contribute to its support for and promotion of the mathematical sciences, which are fundamental to so many aspects of modern life.’
