St Peter’s College invites applications for a one-year College Lectureship (2-hour) in Law (Jurisprudence) starting on 1 October 2025.

Part-time Library Assistant

St Peter’s College invites applications for the part-time Library Assistant post, starting from 6th  October 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. The post is part-time, 20 hours per week, for 30 weeks per year, i.e. for weeks 0-9 inclusive of each Oxford University term.

You will support colleagues providing library services to students, fellows and staff through a range of tasks including responding to enquiries, book processing, and shelving.  The Library is arranged over several floors and two buildings; the post-holder is required to carry heavy books up steps and between buildings.

The appointee’s salary will be calculated pro rata at Grade 4 of the nationally negotiated pay spine, currently £26,338 - £29,959 per annum FTE. The hourly rate paid for the core hours stated will be between £14.47 and £16.46 per hour.

Casual Hall Assistant (Waiting Staff)

St Peter’s College wishes to build up a pool of casual staff to work in our Dining Hall.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Managers, the post holders will be working as part of the Hall team to provide outstanding levels of service to all those who use the Hall including academic staff (Fellows and Lecturers), students, staff, and visitors, and to promote a professional and positive image of the College to everyone who dines in the Hall.

Salary: The College shall pay you an hourly rate of £12.99 per hour.

Hours of work:  Variable hours (including mornings, weekends and evenings) according to the shift roster. This is a casual role with no guarantee of being offered any shifts.
