IT Manager

St Peter’s College wishes to appoint a committed, talented, and efficient team player to coordinate and run the IT Department. 

Applicants should be available to take up this appointment in early to Mid-September 2019.

The IT Manager is responsible for the management, maintenance, and development of the College’s IT infrastructure, systems and applications to meet the College’s current and anticipated requirements. The post-holder will liaise closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders and resources, ensuring that multiple projects are delivered smoothly and effectively. 

The College seeks a manager with a professional attitude and the necessary expertise to make an immediate contribution to its busy IT Office, with a hands-on approach. 

Appointment will be on Grade 8 of the University’s salary scale for non-academic staff, £40,792- £48,677 FTE.

Welfare Officer

St Peter’s College invites applications for the post of Welfare Officer at St Peter’s College, to start from 1 October 2019.  The closing date for applications is 12 noon on Friday 2 Aug 2019.

The College has two Welfare officers who provide support to students, under the direction of the Dean for Welfare and alongside other members of the Welfare Team. Of particular importance is the emergency overnight on-call rota, which the two Welfare Officers share between them during term time. 

Accommodation and meals will be available to the Welfare Officers throughout the year, except in the final term of employment, when their entitlement will be until the end of week 10 of that term only.

In addition to the above benefits, the Welfare Officer will receive a stipend of £3773 per annum.

Casual Dining Hall Assistants (Waiting Staff)

St Peter’s College wishes to build up a pool of casual staff to work in our Dining Hall and Servery at busy times of the year, and particularly during our summer conference seasons.

Applicants must polite, friendly, reliable and well-presented. All of our waiting staff must be able to work to a high standard of cleaning and hygiene. Previous experience of working in a catering environment is essential, although further training will be provided if necessary.

In return we offer £9.00 per hour, a free meal on duty, and the opportunity to gain exceptional catering and hospitality experience.

Applicants should be able to work mainly evenings and weekends on a flexible casual basis.
