College Bar Manager
The Bar Manager reports directly to the Domestic Bursar and is responsible for the safe, compliant, and effective operation of the College Bar. The role includes supervision of student bar staff, ensuring compliance with the Licensing Act 2003, and maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff.
The College Bar is one of the most popular and welcoming social spaces at St Peter’s College. It sits at the heart of the JCR community, complementing the Junior Common Room as a space for students to gather, relax, and socialise, which reflects the strong sense of community within St Peter’s. The bar is run in partnership with the JCR, ensuring it remains an inclusive, safe and enjoyable space for all.
Salary: The salary is in the range of £32,000 – £34,000 per annum (depending on experience).
This is a permanent full-time role, and the required hours of work will be 40 hours per week spread over an alternating shift pattern, days and evenings, including weekends.
