Dr Benjamin Willmore

Ben Willmore is a neuroscientist who investigates the cortical computations underlying audition and vision.

He is particularly interested in the rich, complex signals that the auditory and visual systems receive from the natural environment. He studies how neurons represent these natural signals, and how neural representations are optimized to process such signals efficiently.

He teaches neurobiology, particularly neural coding and vision.
