Professor Randy Bruno appointed Fellow and Tutor in Neuroscience at St Peter’s College

St Peter’s College is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Randy Bruno as Fellow and Tutor in Neuroscience. Prof Bruno’s credentials include a PhD at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a postdoctoral research appointment at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research and his most recent position as a tenured faculty member at Columbia University.

At St Peter’s Prof Bruno will focus on teaching Neuroscience with a special emphasis on systems-level and circuit level neuroscience. His research concentrates on how the neuronal circuitry of the cerebral cortex contributes to perception, learning, and decision making.

Prof Bruno began his appointment at St Peter’s College in Hilary term 2022, and he will begin teaching students in Michaelmas term 2022.
