Former St Peter's College Fellow and well-known Maritime Archaeologist Mensun Bound is part of the archaeological expedition team that today announced its discovery of Endurance, Shackleton's famous antarctic shipwreck.

Mensun Bound held the Triton Fellowship in Maritime Archaeology at St Peter's College from 1994 until leaving academia to pursue marine archaeology full-time in 2013. The discovery of the Endurance is yet another impressive accomplishment in a long career punctuated by several notable surveys and discoveries.
