Financial Support
Tuition Fee and College Fees
All students are charged a Tuition fee annually (other than Graduates who are out of fee liability). Rates depend on course and degree level.
Home and EU undergraduates can apply for a Tuition fee loan via Student Finance (their local funding authority). Loans are made payable direct to the University. For further information please visit : https://www.gov.uk/student-finance
Graduate Entry medics can apply for a loan to cover part of their fee, however £3465 will have to be met by the student in the first year.
College Fees
Overseas Undergraduates ELQ and all Graduate students are charged a College Fee annually.

Bursaries and awards
Oxford Bursary
Oxford Bursaries are available to Home and EU students from lower income households. If you are entitled to an award you will be sent a notification letter by Student Funding Services. EU students will be contacted with an income assessment form to complete directly from EU student finance.

Vacation Grants
Home and EU undergraduate students can apply for a vacation grant to help towards their vacation rent if they need to stay for academic purposes such as revision and exams. This application form can be found at the lodge or in the finance office.
Compulsory Fieldwork Grant
Students who are expected to undertake compulsory field work are eligible for a field work grant of up to £200. Forms can be found in the Finance Office.
St Peters Foundation Travel Fund
The College is aware that many students undertake extra work relating to their course during vacations such as field trips or unpaid internships, and that modern languages students who are on their year abroad are given reduced loans from Student Finance. The College can provide a small grant towards this, however funds are limited and will be awarded based on a first come first serve basis.
Other Bursaries and Awards
Other bursaries including Graduate travel awards are advertised separately. These can be advertised via email or by posters in our lodge during terms.
Graduate Awards
All graduate students are entitled to apply for Graduate Awards from College. These awards will be used to support conference or academic travel/activities.
Graduate students will be allocated a fixed total College Graduate Award amount for which they can apply for over the course of their studies. There will be a fixed amount available in any one year.

The maximum grant in any one year will not normally exceed £300 for a 4 year student and will be limited (pro-rata) for graduate students studying for different lengths of time.

Aylmer, Cairncross and St Peter’s Academic Awards

Amount Awarded per award: up to £225
Purpose: Research Expenses. Expenditure on equipment not allowed
Conditions: Students must be in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of Graduate Study. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement
Emeritus Fellows’ Travel Award
Number of Awards per year: 1
Amount Awarded per award: up to £225
Purpose: Research related travel, excluding travel to conferences
Conditions: Students must be in 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of Graduate Study. Awarded on the basis of academic achievement
St Peter’s College Foundation Graduate Awards
Number of Awards per year: N/A
Amount Awarded per award: Up to £300
Purpose: Research related expenditure
Conditions: Applicants must approach at least one other source of funds, such as their Departments, Faculties or Scholarship funds.
J. Bossanyi Bursary in Environmental Conservation and Sustainable Use
Number of Awards per year: N/A
Amount Awarded per award: Up to £225
Purpose: To support graduate Research on environmental issues, particularly with respect to environmental and biodiversity conservation and sustainable resource use.
Conditions: Research undertaken should be interdisciplinary; should show sensitivity to diverse cultural, political, social, and/or technological environments; should aim, where possible to formulate strategies to promote action.
The St Peter's Diggle Clarendon Scholarship (not available in 2018/2019 and 2019/2020)
Number of Awards per year: 1
Amount Awarded per award: Full University and College Fees.
Purpose: In addition to the funding of tuition fees, the St Peter's Diggle Scholarship will provide £2000 per term for living expenses, and an additional £4000 per annum will be available upon application to the college to support research and associated travel.
Conditions: Applicants must be Singaporean citizens and preferably resident in Singapore at the time of applications. The applicant must have the intention of using their experience at St Peter's College to contribute to the development of the academic and intellectual environment of Signapore
MCR Book Grant
Number of Awards per year: N/A
Amount Awarded per award: Up to £100
Purpose: To cover the cost of purchasing books that cannot be bought by the college library.
MCR Thesis Binding Grant
Number of Awards per year: N/A
Amount Awarded per award: Up to £100
Purpose: To cover costs of binding Masters or DPhil Theses.
MCR Conference Grant
Number of Awards per year: N/A
Amount Awarded per award: Up to £225
Purpose: To cover costs of attending conferences.
