SPC Life in Lockdown

Trinity Term 2020 was like no other in the history of St Peter's College. This blog series highlights the ongoing work of our tutors, students, and other members of the college community, who are adapting and continuing their research and working lives in the face of the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

'SPC Life in Lockdown' opened in Week 1 with contributions from Professor Abigail Williams, Lord White Fellow and Tutor in English, who reflects on how she will write her new book with limited access to the library and archive resources she previously took for granted, and Dr Timothy Clack, Chingiz Gutseriev Fellow in Archaeology and Anthropology, who found himself on a research trip in the South Atlantic when news of the lockdown was first announced.

Other contributors include fellows in German and Portuguese, the College Registrar, the JCR President, the College Archivist, and many others.

As well as these blogs, if you would like to learn more about how the people of St Peter's are contributing, with their expertise and their time, to the collective effort to get us through the enormous challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic then please visit our dedicated webpage.
