Fun fact:

I speak 9 languages! I'm very much addicted to learning languages and although I don't speak all 9 to a brilliantly high level, I love the idea of communicating with people from all over the world in their own language.

St Peter’s/University activities:

Lots of things - there's really so much to get involved in. Some examples are playing football for the College (usually the second team because I'm not very good - but it's the taking part that counts!) I am a regular at the College student bar (I’m an employee) and I regularly get involved in outreach events arranged by the College (for example, school visits to St Peter’s).

Why does alumni support matter?:

Alumni support is what allows St Peter's to remain different from other universities nationwide. Thanks to the financial support from alumni, we are able to receive individual, focused support from tutors in small groups and feel like a real, valued members of a community rather than just a cog. I feel like my strengths and weaknesses are recognised by my tutors and that they really care about me as an individual and this would not be possible without alumni support.
