St Peter's Open Days 2016
Over the last two days, St Peter's has welcomed hundreds of school pupils from all over the country as part of the University-wide Open Days programme.
Current St Peter's students were on hand to give guided tours of the college and to answer questions about life and work as a student in the University of Oxford, while the Tutor for Admissions, Dr Robert Pitkethly, was available to offer guidance and advice with regards to the admissions process. Potential applicants were also able to drop in to chat with tutors about their subject and the various courses Oxford has to offer. Other events included a series of personal statement workshops, mock interviews and taster lectures.
St Peter's was also visited by Stephen Twigg MP, along with a group of school pupils from Liverpool, who were in Oxford as part of the Liverpool to Oxbridge Collaborative, which looks to provide support to pupils from the city applying for places at either Oxford or Cambridge.
For those unable to make it to Oxford this time, St Peter's will be participating in the next Open Day event, which will be held on 16 September 2016. Further information will be published on this website closer to the time.
