Prof Wójcik to chair Global Geography Conference
Professor Dariusz Wójcik, Fellow and Tutor in Geography at St Peter's, is to act as Chair of the Fourth Global Conference on Economic Geography, the world's largest conference on economic geography, which is being hosted at the School of Geography and the Environment and the Smith School of Enterprise and Environment, University of Oxford, on 19-23 August 2015.
The conference, entitled 'Mapping Economies in Transformation', will showcase cutting edge research on how the map of the world economy is changing, why it is changing, impacts of these changes on cities and regions, and what we should do about them.
More than 500 eminent scholars, opinion- and policy-makers from over 50 different countries are expected to attend.
