Kevin Davies wins Guggenheim Fellowship

St Peter's alumnus, Dr Kevin Davies (Biochemistry, 1979), has been awarded a prestigious 2017 Guggenheim Fellowship by the John Guggenheim Memorial Foundation.

Kevin, who has held postdoctoral positions at MIT and Harvard Medical School, has spent more than 25 years in science publishing, and is the author (or co-author) of three popular science books exploring the medical and societal impact of advances in DNA sequencing and analysis.

The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation was established in 1925 by US Senator Simon Guggenheim and his wife, Olga. 

The Foundation offers Fellowships to further the development of scholars and artists by assisting them to engage in research in any field of knowledge and creation in any of the arts, under the freest possible conditions and irrespective of race, colour, or creed.
