Jessica Milligan wins teaching award
Congratulations to Ms Jessica Milligan, Non-Stipendiary Lecturer in Economics at St Peter's, who late last week beat off stiff competition to claim an OUSU Student-Led Teaching Award Outstanding Tutor Award.
Jessica, whose research interests lie in Microeconomic theory and theory-based empirical testing, within the field of Behavioural Economics, was one of four St Peter's tutors shortlisted for an award.
She follows in the footsteps of previous St Peter's winners, Dr Kevin Hilliard and Dr Daniel Gerrard, to claim one of these highly-competitive awards.
The OUSU Student-led Teaching Awards provide students with direct opportunities to recognise excellence in teaching by nominating their tutors and lecturers for awards in various categories, including Most Acclaimed Lecturer, Outstanding Tutor and Outstanding Supervisor.
Award winners are selected by a panel of students and were announced at a ceremony held in the Oxford Town Hall.
