Hubert Perrodo building shortlisted again
The award-winning Hubert Perrodo Building has been shortlisted for yet another international architecture award.
The World Architecture News (WAN) Awards is the world's largest architecture awards programme, with projects nominated for prizes from around the globe. The Hubert Perrodo Building is shortlisted in the education category alongside projects from China, Australia and USA.
Winners of each category will be revealed on the 20 November 2018.
In May, the Hubert Perrodo Building was recognised with a prestigious 2018 Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) South Award. It has also been nominated for an AJ Architecture Award and a prestigious 2018 Building Award.
The Hubert Perrodo Building was officially opened in March by the Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Lord Patten of Barnes, along with St Peter’s Master, Mark Damazer CBE, and members of the Perrodo family, whose generous donation to the college, one of the largest in its history, has made the work possible. Located in the college's Chavasse Quad, the building has a public space on the ground floor, six en-suite rooms, and a meeting room on the top floor with a veranda that offers superb views over the college. It is the first multi-level building to be built on the college’s main site in thirty years.
