A conductor leading a choir and orchestra

The Choir and Chamber Orchestra of St Peter's College present Joseph Haydn's masterpiece, Missa in Angustiis (Mass for Troubled Times), more commonly known as the Nelson Mass. Please join us for this energetic and tempestuous piece of music. The concert will last approximately one hour.

The Choir of St Peter’s College is one of the finest mixed-voice choirs at the University of Oxford. It comprises around 25 auditioned students and has an established reputation in Oxford, and further afield, for its choral excellence, diverse repertoire, and collegiality. Their performance of the Nelson Mass will be conducted by prize-winning conductor and St Peter's College's Director of Music, Quintin Beer, and will feature soloists from the Choir.

Tickets are £12 for general admission, £10 for concessions and free for students and young people under 18. Booking ahead is encouraged to avoid disappointment at the door.

All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the College Choir's forthcoming tour.
