Memorial Service for Revd William (‘Billy’) Lysander Rowan Watson, MA (4 March 1926 - 28 August 2025)

We are sad to share that our Emeritus Fellow, The Reverend William (‘Billy’) Lysander Rowan Watson, died aged 99 on 28 August 2025. You can read our full tribute to Billy here.

On Saturday 7 March 2026 at 2.30pm, we will hold a College memorial service in honour of Billy in the Chapel, followed by refreshments in the Hall.  

Family, friends, former students and colleagues are all very welcome to join. Fellows are invited to wear gowns.

Although registration is not required, we would nevertheless be grateful if you could let us know you are planning to attend so that we can cater appropriately.
