Perrodo Project Phase 1

Perrodo Project Phase 1

The preliminary stages of the Perrodo Project were carried out in August/September 2014 and saw improvements to the Lodge and Fellows' Writing Room, the SCR and SCR Dining Room and the JCR Passageway.

Phase 1 proper of the Perrodo Project officially began in August 2015 and work was completed by May 2016. This part of the project focused on the front court and main and disabled entrances, the ground floor of the Latner Building and Linton Quad. The work involved:

  • Complete re-modelling of Linton Quad
  • External cleaning of Latner Building and internal extension and renovation
  • Improved access to chapel via new side doors
  • Re-modelling of front entrance with improved disabled access

The architects for this phase were Allies and Morrison and the main contractors were Edgar Taylor.

The resulting work in Linton Quad was recognised with an Oxford Preservation Trust Award in November 2016 and a British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) Award in December 2017.
