College Lectureship in Modern European History since 1700
We have a vacancy for a part-time College Lecturer in Modern European History (excluding Britain) since 1700. The appointee will be required to provide tutorial and class teaching for an average of four hours per week, mainly to first and second year undergraduates but also with some involvement in third year teaching. Other duties will include participating in admissions procedures, and setting and marking College examinations. Closing date: 24 May 2012

Junior Welfare Officer
This post is available from Michaelmas term 2012. The officer will work closely with other members of the welfare team, representing the interests of students within the College and making themselves available to individual students at specified times and in cases of emergency. The successful candidate will need to be empathetic and open-minded, and interested in student life and activities. Free accommodation and meals plus £2,000 per annum. Closing date: 24 May 2012

Scholarships and awards
Gustav Born Graduate Scholarship in Biomedical Sciences
The Gustav Born Scholarship is open to students who in 2012-13 will be in their second or third year of graduate studies (with a preference for those who will be in their second year), and reading for a research degree of the University of Oxford. They may be engaged in research in any field of biomedical sciences. The successful candidate will be expected to be or to become a member of St Peter's College. The value of the award will be up to £3500 per annum. Closing date: 30 May 2012
