This webpage contains information for students who are joining St Peter's in October 2011, as well as various forms that will need to be completed and returned to the college. The first section contains information that is relevant to all students, followed by separate sections for Undergraduate Students, Graduate Students, and Visiting Students. Some items are not yet available, but the information is being continually updated, so do check back regularly.

All Students
Freshers' week commences on Monday 3 October 2011, and all new students should aim to arrive by 5.00pm on Sunday 2 October (Graduate students should check information from their department or faculty, who may wish them to arrive earlier).

- University of Oxford Orientation Programme for International Students. Please do not book a place on this programme until you have received written confirmation from the University that you have met all the conditions of your offer, and your place is confirmed.

- Computing Services: in advance of arriving you will be sent your Oxford Single Sign-on account activation details to enable you to access central student IT services. You will normally receive this information by email, to the email address that you have supplied during the admissions process. A few days after you have signed and returned your University Contract (see below under 'Forms for completion'), you will receive a further email, telling you about your Oxford email account. Undergraduate Students (not Visiting Students)
18 August 2011: If you have met the conditions of an offer to study at St Peter's starting in October 2011 you will receive a confirmation letter by post shortly. Please make sure you check through the items below, and return the various forms by the stated deadlines.

College events
University library induction sessions - For students requiring a VISA: A CAS number will be issued automatically to all International Students by the University once your place has been confirmed by e-mail. Once you have received your CAS number you will be able to apply for you VISA. For more information about VISAs please take a look at the Student Gateway.
Forms for completion by Undergraduates (not Visiting Students):
- Next of Kin form - sent by post with confirmation letter. Please return this, together with an extra passport photo, to Martin Brown by 16 September at the latest.
- College Contract - sent by post with confirmation letter. Please return this to Martin Brown by 16 September at the latest.
- University Contract - sent by post with confirmation letter. Please return this to Martin Brown by 16 September at the latest. Failure to return it by this date may delay the production of both your University card and access to e-mail and internet at the college and University.
- Medical items - three forms as follows:
- Confidential Health Questionnaire Please print and complete this form, and return it to the College Doctors by 16 September.
- Medical Registration Form (NHS form GMS1) Please print and complete this form, and return it to the College Doctors by 16 September. (Note about completion of form: in line 5, for 'Home address', please enter your term time address, ie. St Peter's College, and ensure that you sign at the bottom of page 1)
- Important Vaccinations: Mumps and Meningitis C. Please return tear-off slip to the College Doctors by 16 September.
Graduate Students

Visiting Students studying one of the subjects listed below, please download the relevant document regarding choices of course for when you start in October. If your subject is not listed here, do not worry - please do check back occasionally to see if it has appeared, but some subjects do not ask their students to make choices of course until they arrive in October.
